ResPECT

In networked cyber-physical systems, the exchange of information between sensor and actor nodes is crucial. The nodes themselves can be designed to be resilient, capable of withstanding disruptions and handling power failures. However, the communication between these nodes is implemented as an auxiliary feature, rather than being deeply integrated into the mechanisms for handling failures.

To bridge this gap, ResPECT implements an operating system and network stack, based on transactional operation and non-volatile memory for persistence.

This project is part of DFG Priority Programme SPP 2378 “Resilient Worlds” (DFG project number 502615015).
